I gave it a good play last night and it's a good game but no BoP. All the time I was playing I was wishing it was in a WW2 setting. That kind of open world multi player landscape set in war torn Europe would be my dream game.
So far my biggest beef with the game is lack of scoped weapons. I haven't seen one yet and the vast landscape is crying out for a sniper rifle.
It's all good fun though. Posses vs gangs works well, especially when some lone player decides to attack the posse. I don't think this will take many people off BoP for long (no need to worry Kav).

I was thinking the same thing about wishing it was war torn Europe, dk. I don't know about you but I found the the mechanics of the game are prettty much identical to GTA with Oblivion-style environments and Uncharted 2 gunplay. I found the Free Roam posse MP very impressive. There are scoped weapons in the game.

Of course this isn't a threat to dyed in the wool BoP folk.

Hey guys

Are anyone of you up for a re-try for a cpl of pre-briefed missions saturday night? I'd love to take up wookie and Kavs idea of a bomb-run and/or strifes on parked planes.

Something like this:

Session: Teambattle
Map: Dover
Time: Morning
Weather: Clear or cloudy

Allies:
Bombers: Parked Blemheims at Manston (Pilots land imediatly at the airfield and park the planes in formation beside iach other).
Cover: None (Turret-guns as AA)
Take off from: None

Axis:
Attackers: Bf 109's
Take-off: Hawkinge

I'll set it up as a 12 or 14 player game, and have up to 8 attacking 109's - against 4 to 6 Blenheims.

I'd love to see how many of the Blenheims some of you guys could strife in one pass!

Anyone up for it?

Sounds like fun I can make it this Sat nite . Either Side is fine with me .

As a matter of fact we should try and run at least 2 missions . So that people can switch up ie Bomber one round attacker nxt .

A mix of 109's and 190's would be cool as well . 2 flights of attackers 3 -4 aircraft each 3 109's 1 Fw190 as lead . Stacked Echlon formation 5000 feet .
each aircraft rolls in in order . would be neat but requires discpline . to achive
