Will it work with the steam version of AP or should I just wait for steam to offer it ?

You should wait for the steam release. Atleast that's what Nike-it said on another thread if you search a little.

I ordered the platinum edition through this link, downloaded and installed it but now it asks for a serialnumber that wasnt provided... bah.

Update: seems like an issue in the yuplay shop or an issue with my eyes, working with yuplay support to get the serial thingy resolved (they say it should display in my purchases section, yet it doesnt).
