Default Vista 64 BSOD driver in a infinite loop...

I've encountered a very annoying problem. After 1, 5 or sometimes 10 minutes of playing i get bsod with a message that driver is in a infinite loop and i have a restart. Right now i think I've found a solution to this problem by changing windows theme to classic, i've been playing for about an hour and game runs fine. Has anyone have another idea? C2D 6400 Asus P5b Radeon 2900xt 4 Gb, Any ideas ? I'm using Vista 64 Sp 1 Catalyst 9.2 ( on 812 situation was the same) After turning windows theme to classic game crashes after playing an hour or more... still it's crashing ;/

Hi,
I have the same problem. I am in the chapter when you take the elevator and when it arrives down I got a blue screen says nvlddmkm.sys .
I'm using nvidia drivers 182.08 (lastest march 2009) on a evga gtx 295. The game runs fine till here, I can't understand the problem. I tried to chage drivers, I've installed the previous 182.06 but nothing. It seems the problem is only here. I don't know.. hope for a patch.

BSOD -> check your RAM...
Cryostasis is a resource hog, so it can be a good stability stress-test for your config

I'm using 182.06 (GTX260) in Vista64 and never had such issues so far. The game never crashed on me actually, even though I toyed a *lot* with resolutions, graphic settings and config files
