Default Merry Christmas with gifts delivered by Me-110 (youtube vid)

My flight-sim vids: http://www.flightsimvids.com
ATAG: http://www.theairtacticalassaultgroup.com

This movie was uploaded on Dec. 24 2012, so Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all flight sim fans watching this!

The Luftwaffe is in a generous mood today, flying some special 500-kilo gifts across the Channel to England. I was lucky to hook up with ATAG_ChasingFear, who is a real expert. He guided me all the way through our mission, and even chose a route that avoided encounters with the RAF.

The Messerschmitt Me-110 is just awesome to fly in Cliffs of Dover. It has real heft and certainly handles more heavily than a one-engined fighter, but it also carries a good load of bombs, 1 tonne of them no less. As you will see, I also got to discover how it deals with damage... Sometimes two engines are nice to have along!

The pace of this movie is a bit slower than usual, because I have been fiddling around with actual video editing this time. I hope you like the various different views.

Enjoy the vid, comments very welcome!

a little tactical advice:

After you dropped the bomb, fly straight and low out of the zone.
Make some distance between you and the target first before climb and turn in again.
That protects you better from AA.

If you climb and turn immediately after your bombrun, you lose speed and give a good target for the AA.

ohh and merry Xmas.

Great video once again! Thank you, really enjoyed that.

This sort of stuff is truly inspirational. Anyone doubting the playability of this sim should check out your excellent presentations.

Happy Christmas!

Thanks! - All very good advice, for sure.

However, I'll counter with a bit of cinematographic advice: climbing and turning after bomb release makes for compelling visuals, which is essential to a movie! - So, that's why I do it...

Inspirational, perhaps, but now it is all too late, isn't it?

What I don't get is why the haters of this sim - many who didn't even install it - with their forum postings could convince so many that the sim was unplayable, while I kept churning out vids for two years that clearly showed the opposite...

Too few people supported this sim and too many went on the haters' bandwagon and that lead to where we are now.

I invite the haters and their hang-arounds to check out the new RoF Channel map in this movie, overflying Dover:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=2MZ-4tSIUZs
... And then compare with the English landscape in the movie I made.

Yeah, CoD was soooo crap, wasn't it?...

The bad guys won, simple as that. And they love it.
