Unfortunately not an airshow photo. I have it from the website of Flugwerk, who have made a series of rebuilt FW-190s. Here's their website: http://flugwerk.de/

See you soon my friend!

Default Guilty as charged...

Never mind the dramatic headline, no one's really charged me but myself.

Last night, in order to test a new game idea by tommykocher, I've flown a Focke Wulf 190-D9 (something I usually never do) under my normal settings (and the ones which I asked Friends to take up as well) and realized that it just doesn't make sense to fly a plane without a cockpit with a disabled HUD. No chance to read altitude, airspeed and thrust setting anywhere. Very obvious when you think of it, which I didn't.

Sorry.

So, with immediate effect, it's becoming quite easy to join Friends of P-51 Mustang Purist Club. All that's required is that you like to fly German fighters and bombers and fly against the P-51 Mustang Purist Club in Club games. No need to change any of your settings, the only rules you will need to accept are SIM, limited fuel/ammo and 'who dies less wins' when taking on the P-51 Mustang Purist Club. Flying at a higher sensitivity than you normally would is not required but is encouraged.

Looking forward to good games!

Default First Friend Announced

Happy to announce the first member of Friends of P-51 Mustang Purist Club:

Gilly

Gilly (PSN: GILLYBADMUTHA) is a bomber ace who offers to fly any bomber as required. His field of expertise is more with the B-17, but he'll fly the German bombers as well when required.

Thanks Gilly for joining. Hope some of your many friends will follow.

Default Making Friends More Open

Hello all,

With the joining of Gilly I decided to drop the restriction of Friends being limited to flying only German planes and bombers. As of now, also allied bomber pilots can join.

The reason is that this will give the P-51 Mustang Purist Club members great opportunities to fulfill one of their primary missions - bomber escort. Can't wait to work together with some of you experienced B-17 bombers.

See you soon.

Very happy to welcome McQ59 as a new member of Friends of P-51 Mustang Purist Club!

By the way McQ59, it is not necessary for you to fly the German planes in full sensitivity - only if you wish!

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
