Actually i tried once but i got blue screen after intro video which it was with no sound.

try to disable the initial video: open with notepad the file video.info in the game directory in document and settings and set to 1 or 0 the parameter depending of value you see set now.

Hello Mitra! Thanks for your reply.

The parameter was set to 0 ,I changed it to 1, the intro video didn't play, but i got the same problem.
Blue screen with the game cursor visible and with sound.

I guess it's the menu screen but i can't see it.

Try to launch the game with XP compatibility and verify the grafic drivers versions (or too much old or too much recent)

Thanks again Mitra. I tried that configuration but it didn't work. I even downgrade the graphic drivers and again it didn't start with the engine.exe.

But i managed to run the game with the editor.exe. I saw that solution somewhere in this forum.

Is there any difference playing the game through the editor.exe??

A part the full screen nothing than i Know. Try to play with the graphical settings of game, changing them.

Hi!! At last i am playing the game!! I had only to verify my graphic card information to the hardware info file under documents/Real Warfare 1242.
It seems to be a nice game.
