Default Netcode Improvements

It seems 1C is on the right track. I've heard several reports of very good online gameplay with 70+ players. Since the latest official patch the server would usually stop responding after 50 players (console would stop, couldn't see chat messages etc.)

We've had well over 80 players in a server now and it's actually quite enjoyable. Of course, there's the occasional stutter or warpage, but nothing like it was before.

Attached is a snapshot of the ATAG server bandwidth graph showing we can finally stream some bandwidth! Graph shown has 78 players and is streaming around 12mbps in upload! Please keep doing more of the same. Maybe we can actually hit that 125 player mark sometime

Thanks for giving a little love to the netcode

We were actually just talking about this, ATAG server is smoother and enjoyable now with over 40 players. This is great news for MP!

Winger what are they struggling with? Knowing what targets to hit? Seeing the target in the bombsights? What aircraft are they flying? etc.

Most bomber pilots on the both sides of the pond don't have any issues save blenny's seeing the target from high alt when looking thru bombsight.

Thanks

Are you guys reading the briefing? The targets and their grid points are all there. They shouldn't be that bad to find with using the map. But remember, it's easier to see distant dots that ground objects make when you're not zoomed in.

Great news! Once the patch goes final I'll be back on ATAG.
