Best Resolution for Il 2 1946 23 Inch Monitor

Guys, I fly since at least more than a year and I'm always having problem to see contact..
I have a 23 inch monitor, wich resolution should i use?
Any ideas?
I'm using 1920 * 1080 right now....

you could try maybe one step lower res

(keep the same ratio as with 1920 x 1080, your current screen ratio is 16/9)

buy proper screen cleaner fluid for your own screen type. Wipe the screen clean. You will be surprised at the result, you understand how many spit marks and dirt etc. may be in your screen
