Question ATI settings in IL-2

Hi everyone,

I'm new here to this forum

IL-2 has got no ingame-settings for graphics as f. ex. AA oder AF or VSYNC, so you have to manually set the graphic settings in your CCC (Catalyst Control Center) if you have got an ATI Video Card.

In order not to always make my graphic settings manually before flying with IL-2 I created some profiles in the CCC (called presettings) and assigned some hotkeys. If I press "Ctrl-ALt-I" for example, IL-2 launches as wanted but none of my assigned graphic settings are activated (f. ex. VSYNCH) which is why I alwasy have to do the graphic settings manually every time I want to play IL-2 and set them back afterwards.

Someone gave me the hint that profiles only don't work with IL-2. No problems did exist with other games.

Any advice is welcome, I can't believe that all IL-2 gamers with ATI videocards allways do their graphic settings manually before lauching IL-2...

Greetings from Germany

Schneider

1. hint: use global settings (for all games the same)
2. hint: check if path of executable (il2fb.exe) is correct in CCC

Hi, Caspar.

Tanks for your answer!

1. global settings are not recommendable imho, as most new games have ingame-settings which add to AA and AF selection made in CCC. So global AA 8x and AF 16 X in CCC might stress the graphics card as not all high ingame-presets can be unchecked.

2. path of executable ist correct as Il-2 launches! Only my AA, AF and VSYNC-settings won't appear in IL-2.

I use Radeon Pro

It does what you need: create a profile with the AA, AF, VSynch settings, select the IL2 executable and play the game = your profile is loaded along with your settings.

Hope that helps.

Hi Extreme_One
You could show me a profile of IL2 Cliffs Of Dover in RadeonPro?, I have only one graphics card, I can use the RadeonPro equally?
