Nice video.

I smiled when I saw you chasing your shadow at one point. Who of us has not done that?

Ah yes, Il-2 1946, the paragon of realism...

I think that the crash is just right. My speed was down, I had flaps out, the undercarriage would have taken part of the impact, I slide for a good while and lose the whole starboard wing...

Anyway, thanks for so much appreciating the vid I made for you...

Frey, did you have the land-shading turned down? The terrain didn't seem as crisp as in your previous videos. Still very good though!
Well spotted. I turned it down for my London video, to make the sim run better, and forgot to turn it back up again... - Also this was just the stock airfield attack mission that comes with CoD, and they choose the flat middle-of-the-day light which doesn't do the look of the sim any favours...

AFAIK, Spit pilots didn't usually fly combat with the hood open, as opposed to Hurri pilots. Or what did you mean?

I get to practice a quick take-off, but not voluntarily. Damn' Jerries are attacking Manston again, which leads to some rather spectacular pyrotechnics, especially when you watch them from close up on the runway. Not very proud of my flying, but at least I bring down a Messerschmitt at the end!

Anyway, enjoy. Comments always very welcome!
