I want to hack swcw3 to change hero's photo i tried to find the file that containing the images but i don't found it please help!

picture files in SW are dds files. check data/texture/interface/pilot/32+64+128 and look for Hero_egt2.dds files.

He is exactly correct, there are only those 3 files to edit.

Another tip, if you go into \Data\LocData\English\Voice\Hero\, there are 16 .wav files which the hero will use as his voice.

In this thread ( http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=13727 ), the 2nd post (by Gui DURANDAL) contains a 30Mb zip file of voices taken from the other games in the series. You can rename them and put them in the hero's folder if you like. This means if you use a girl picture for the hero you can give the hero a girl voice too

I replaced the file but now in game the photos are blanc......

A good idea... now all that i need to do is to change my sex and the hard part...to change the photo...

You need to use .dds format and the size needs to match exactly. 32x32, 64x64, and 128x128. I don't remember what editor I used (got a new computer now) when I was modding last time though, sorry :/

I used IrfanView (with a dds plugin) wich worked like a charm.

i tried with irfanview but i can't save in .dds ....format i downloaded format plugin 4.3 the ewest from irfanview website....
