MOD suggestion: "nighttime operations" as in AP

Hello, this is my first contribution to this forum. I'm playing KB on Hard after I've already tried AP and I cannot bear the lack of improvement that has been done there on this skill.

If someone could mod it or give me some hints how to do it, so that it works also underground, would it not be of use to us all? What should go with it is making the morning/day and evening/night times more even, and if there could be exact time of day.. maybe I want too much, but that would be great if the travels took only exact times as in AP, not the night and morning, so that I wouldn't need for the evening all over... if only there was a speed-up option like in mount&blade
