Default Contraband quest in Scarlet Wind

I can't complete the contraband quest in Scarlet Quest (find 2 chests and bring them to Bruges in Rusty Anchor) because I can't find one of the chests. I've explored the whole island and his coast, but I have only 1 "chest of goods" (the "large" one according to the quest log)

where is the other one? I want to get rid of this old and easy quest!!

thx

Well, really try digging all over the place marked on the map. Are there still enemy troops patrolling the map? Trying to avoid them, perhaps you did not conduct a thorough search?

The first chest is near Jimmy Kraud and the second one is on a small beach (accessible through sailing) behind the tavern. There is usually a chest and an enemy stack next to it, but you can steal it if you're quick.

thanks, Imissed the one in the beach because it was buried and couldn't see it. I'm lv24 and i've already finished with all the stuff in that island, that's why i wanted to finish this quest!

I've looked for it all over the beach and can't find it. Did you get the "ray of light" that you get when you go near buried treasure? I walked all over the beach and nothing shows up and I have even randomly dug just about every square inch with no luck. Any ideas?

What do you mean with " all over the beach" ? one of them might not be quite on the beach but near it, although im not sure. just check the treasure map in your inventory and compare it with your map, goodluck!

This beach behind the tavern is small and if you clear out the guardian stack there, you cannot miss it if you are on the right beach. Just use the D key a few times

This is wierd - there's no gaurdian stack onm the beach behind the tavern that matches where the X on the map is? Unless I've already cleared them out earlier.
The beach I'm digging up has a tiny spade leaning against some rocks on the left hand side.....is this the wrong one?

Thanks...I'll check it tonight. Does the spot "light up" in the same way it does when you go near buried treasure or do you just have to dig?
Really appreciate your help BTW.
