Exclamation Elven Legacy goes Gold

1C and Paradox Interactive today announced that development of Elven Legacy, the upcoming fantasy turn-based strategy for the PC, has been completed and the game has gone Gold.

Elven Legacy is scheduled for retail release in April 2009.

Do you know if the map and campaign editors are going to be on the game disk or be a separate download?

How exactly does a digitally distributed game go Gold? Doesn't this mean we should be able to buy it now

It's not only digitally distributed, there will be retail versions. They will appear togather with digital one.

That's great news. It seemed like Fantasy Wars never really made a big splash in retail stores. Hopefully this time there will be a lot bigger player base and more player made content as well.

The retail version will include the editor, for digital version you will have to download it separatly.

Sweet, I pre-ordered it from Play.com ages ago. Loved Fantasy Wars to death, so I'll probably love this as well.
