For the way i play i feel the game is rather ok for now.
Sure there are some kinks and less good things, but nothing that will get me irritated so won't even start the game till fixed.
What i do wish they would look into is getting the sound working for when your plane gets hit.
So irritating noticing getting hit first when it's all to late.

In old IL-2 it sounded like trowing pebbles on a tin roof getting MG shots hitting plane and like a big rock on the same from getting hit by that 20mm cannon

Ir got you almost instantly breaking off after first few plonks on your plane, and not like now first when you are out of the fight

Just did a quick mission and offline you do hear hits landing on your aircraft.
Guess it's a online thing.

Me too, I assume that its a problem of the netcode which needs to be looked at. Same thing is the sometimes missing engine sounds of other players planes. Never had this issue offline, but online it is a pretty common thing unfortuneately

Apart from that I really really hope that the upcoming official patch will not be a final patch for CloD. When you look only at the bugtracker buglist (even if you dont take the features category of the bugtracker into consideration) there are literally tons of things which needs to be corrected!
I understand that time is precious, but these bugs have to be removed at some point.... the sooner the better... and of course better for the sales figures of the sequel
