Will I be able to sell CoD if my laptop can't run it?
Bit of a cheeky question but I think it's pretty touch and go if my laptop can run this game and seen as we've have had no demo their is no way to say for sure. So if it can't run it to a playable level would it work if I sold the DVD on ebay to someone else?.
Reason I ask is when I bought SH5 i'm sure people said the DRM was linked to one pc and therefore could not be sold on. By the time I upgraded to a new laptop I think the price of CoD will have come down in price somewhat. Thanks |

I doubt it. My bet is that it will be similar to civ5 where activation was linked to your steam account. Makes sense (from the publisher's perspective) for the publisher to limit second-hand sales where possible. I can't see myself selling it anyway.

My guess would be you wouldn't be able to sell it. Personally I wouldn't want to. I'd be selling the laptop that couldn't run it and buying something that would..

If the game utilizes Steamworks then no.

Sell it with your steam account...

Exactly.
If you are not sure that your laptop can run it, make a new Stem account for it. |
