Italian Battle of Britain campaign starting on 17th November
Hi everyone,
[Update: As an exclusion the first mission will take place on Sunday, 17th November]. Storm of War - with 5./JG27Farber in person - is starting the Italian BoB campaign next Saturday. In this 4-6 mission campaign with a mission once every Saturday beginning at 7 pm/8 pm (GMT/CET) red forces have to protect Great Britain from attacks of the Italian Regia Aeronautica. Pilots to fly the mighty Fiat G.50 fighters and Fiat Br.20 bombers are welcomed but there is special need for brave Hurricane and Spitfire pilots. If you are interested in participating please read the detailed campaign information in the Storm of War forum or ask your questions here. Yes, the SOW campaigns are the most intense experience you can have in CloD! Up to 100 pilots in the air with very disciplined squadrons and pilots on both sides trying to achive their mission goals.
Just give it a try! The Italian BoB is a very good entry point. |

Aren't there any Spitfire and Hurricane pilots who dare to face the Regia Aeronautica and their superior planes?
For all the disbelievers who do not regard a G.50 worth an opponent or doubt the agility and speed..., ehm robustness of the Fiat G.50 Freccia ("Arrow" ): Here is a video about a Spitfire not standing a chance against the G.50 and finally be shot down by the G..., ehm another Bf 109: If you now feel the need to fly a Spitfire or Hurricane to banish the Regio Aeronautica from the BoB theatre, please have a closer look at the Italian BoB campaign starting on Saturday. |

Here is a short video of the mission of yesterdayevening.
I was trying to stay with the bombers and did not see much action. But still great images of a human bomber formation, big fighter escort and several attacking Tommies: The next mission is on Sunday, 24th November 7pm/8pm (GMT/CET). Still more red pilots welcomed! |
