Star Wolves issue

I've recently acquired the game Star Wolves and have noticed an issue where the game has bugged. Anything but missiles will fire, you get the sound, you get the rendering (but the rendering of the weapon lingers instead of firing off normally), and the weapons will do no damage.

This has been a fairly solid game stopper, since combat is a rather necessary part of this game. Please assist!

Try Windows 98 compatibility mode.

I have the same problem. I'm using Star Wolves 1 on Windows Vista and the weapons don't fire. THe same on my pc with Windows XP. Using the compatibility mode doesn't help. When I'm playing Star Wolves 2 there are no problems with the weapons on both pcs.

I have a problem with SW2, stops every 5 minutes, someone could guide me to modify something and continue the story .....?
