Kraken/octocpus crash

Hi,

I am new to KB. I found the original game whne I was browsing, bought, played it and loved. Then picked up KB AP and then ordered Crossworlds online this week. I love the game. Well done 1c.

I am pretty pleased with the stability of the game, but I have struck an error. I have searched and can't find the error mentioned elsewhere. I beat the kraken (or as my 4yo says purple octopussie) and the game crashed. Rebooted, tried again, beat the Kraken, game crashed, etc. I don't know why this is happening.

By crash it just kicks back to the desktop and comes up with a message kb.exe has stopped working. Anyone else having this issue? Or is there a fix for it?
