Two questions about Empire's Legacy

I doubt anyone here is or knows Russian and played Empire's Legacy, but just in case someone did I'm curious about two things.

Did Hero and Ace die in the storyline since they don't appear in Star Wolves 3? As you know the story carries on from Empire's Legacy and the events of Star Wolves 2 didn't happen.

What happened between Heretic and the old team? You know how he lies he's working for the New Empire and that you're carrying weapons just so that he gets Phantom's equipment early in the game.

I did play Empire's Legacy, but that doesn't mean I had any idea of what was going on haha. I didn't see any drama related kill off of Hero or Ace in the gameplay though.

Nobody died. The team splitted apart to hide from dangers they had after such story and what they have been done.

Huh, I thought something tense happened between Heretic and the team in Empire's Legacy since in Star Wolves 3 he acts against their interests.

He have a somekind of "hard temper", yes. But they all have somekind of that.
And in SW3CW there is a different Hero than was in SW1Legacy.
So in SW3CW you can play on one side with Herertic.

Does Cleric appear? I wonder if Empire's Legacy shows how he betrayed Star Wolves.
