Just an idle curiosity (since SoW_BoB is closer to release than it was last week); how will you play SoW?

'Full real' wasn't fully real in IL-2, and it won't be in SoW:BoB either. It is a simulation. This idea that some people play 'real' and others don't is meaningless.

As for how I'll play SoW:BoB, I don't know - I don't know what the options will be.

Andy, if you have an issue with the "full real" terminology Oleg uses in his sim, please take it up with him. It is used here on this forum in the context he created for his sim. Everyone knows that, and (most of us) accept it as such.

I voted for online campaigns full real, but to be honest I don't know what will it be until I see it.
IL-2 is completely boring offline and in almost 10 years of playing it, I never spent more than a few hours offline, while I spent hundreds and hundreds of them online.

If BoB manages to be attractive offline, then I'll definitely prefer this option, as online campaigns became huge waste of time in the end (waiting for half an hour to launch a mission, then someone crashes at take off and host restarts, then half of pilots quit and start all over again...). Not to mention other significant matters that came with online campaigns.

So, for the time being (based on IL-2 experience) it'll be online, but I do hope it can become a great offline experience!

Mostly I'll be using FR offline in campaign mode. Online play is nowhere near as "real" as the devotees would have you think.

I like the idea of full-real settings, but only if I can actually take off without killing my virtual self!
