Parkan II Question

Hello,

I have just started playing Parkan II and am having a problem that I cannot resolve.

I have landed on a planet with a base on it. I have entered the base and destroyed all the bots. When I attempt to take control of the base by entering the master portal, I am told that I do not have the correct key.

My understanding was to kill all the bots / personnel and then enter the master portal and press 'B' - however that does not work.

Anyone know what I may be missing?
