Default Quick Mission Builder on 4.12

When I start up the 1946 patched to 4.12 I can't get the Quick Mission part to open up--anyone know how I can correct this?

How did you install 4.12? Over a clean version or a modded version with the mods turned off? 4.12 is a patch not a mod. It should be installed over the stick sim with no mods.

Go to Quicks folder and delete the .last file. Hopefully that will solve your problem.
Default location: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Quicks

No, just delete the file named ".last.quick" in that folder.

Best regards - Mike

Default Quick folder

There is no item in there called last quick. I installed the new 4.12 patch into the IL-2 folder but I did NOT turn off the mods. will it still work if I do that and load them again?

Bearcat, all patches are just new files, there is no registry tampering.

JGSME only copy files from one folder into il2's folder, and keep a copy of the files replaced in a temporary folder while mods are activated by JGSME.

By doing this, you can have in a single install 4.12, 4.11, 4.10, UP3, and HSFX.

Mainly you could keep the 4.10 as the "base" il2, but if you like the more open version of il2, you could keep 4.09 as the base version.

You just have to decompress the patchs, mods, etc into a particular folder with their whole file structure, and then copy it whole unto a JGSME folder.

Good luck!
