Default Replace GTX 570 with GTX 670

Don't know yet, but my GTX570 may have crapped out. I tried to load the latest drivers last night, which failed, and now all I have is a black screen. If that is the case, I'm looking for some input on a possible replacement: EVGA 04G-P4-2673-KR GeForce GTX 670 Superclocked+ w/Backplate 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

I can get one for $415 + shipping

Thanks,

binky9

Don't give up just yet. This 320.xx series of drivers has been nothing but trouble. A lot of people have problems. Some have problems with voltage spikes, some with random crashes, some even say they kill GPUs.
Can't you restart in safe mode and revert to the last driver?

Try this:

http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m...een+new+driver

If you decide to upgrade the card, don't pay $400+ for a 670. The new 770GTX is out and it's a lot more potent for about the same money:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ce%20GTX%20770

the GTX 770 is similar in performance with the older 680, so is not worth getting the 670 for the same money.

the 780s so far came only with three gigs. The 770 comes with two or four gigs.
