Deleting sound files doesn't seem to help.

I also tried putting the beta files from the Realtek folder in the main game directory, but same problem.

Yeap, I just selected Any sound card and Classic exe and it runs, that is a quick load, less than 3 seconds.
Thanks again TD, I hope I find the .50cal gun cam Tracers I asked Santa for in 2014, 15, 16, 17, 18 and then I stopped writing him....🍁

I installed it and it wont run i also have the realtek card, i used the top DSOAL for any and clint exe, ran exe from root directory, it spun but wouldnt open, it did gereerate a HS-pid file which i have pasted the top portion below

Also tried console exe and bottom sound card for any, game opens and runs but NO SOUND, in sound setup i get a grey out balanced in one of the boxes im trying default etc speaker box shows direct out instead of desk top speakers, open game in 4141 and sound works and can play music so sound card is working but not being read?

I too had problems after installing.

But after running the installer a few times, I finally selected the 2nd option for the EXE folder and the 2nd option for the sound folder and it works just fine now.

Exclamation Realtek Sound 4.15 Installation Selection

The bottom sound selection worked for me. indirect sound for any sound card. Hope it helps it took me a while to find one that works with Realtek sound.

Still no luck, i went to realtek and downloaded their 64 bit hd audio driver, latest being jul 2020. installed it and now realtek dosnt show in device manager just hd audio device. sound in 415 still dosnt work with any if the options, works normal in 4141 reg and my lightly moded one. also tried to downlaod another source for 415 multi exe in case one had missiong files etc. still wont work, no sound. worst case scenario i buy a basic creative soundblaster and put it in pci slot???

better no hurry with that. didn't have solution, but hope soon figured out how to solve it.

Hi stugumby,

not sure if it may help. Try to update the java installation on your machine if you haven't done it already, and then re-install the patch.

Ahh ... that might be why I can't start 4.15. I can't even find a Java installation on my PC. From memory I deleted it years ago due to its security risks. I think most programs and applications that use Java these days include the necessary Java elements in the program, so I've never missed it until now maybe.
