My conf.ini is correct.
Here it is:

Quote:
[window]
width=1920
height=1080
ColourBits=32
DepthBits=24
StencilBits=8
ChangeScreenRes=1
FullScreen=1
DrawIfNotFocused=0
EnableResize=0
EnableClose=1
SaveAspect=0
Use3Renders=0
WideScreenFoV=1
UIColor=0
UIDetail=0
UIBackground=en
However, in game, and in menus, it seems things are "fat". planes seem shorter then they should be, gun sights are slightly elliptic.
There are no black bars.
Take a look at this image of an F6F. Do these proportions look kosher to you?

Honestly it does seem a little "F4F-ish"...meaning a dab fat.

I think y'all are on to something here...My squadmate is a "Serbian Student" and I have emailed him this link to your help. Have not heard from him in a couple of days, pretty sure I will this weekend. Will let y'all know what worked. We much appreciate your interest and time.

Yes they do -the roundel on the fuselage seems fairly round. But it is difficult to judge from that perspective. Look at it from directly above, and measure the spanwidth and lenght of the plane, divide, rotate 90degrees and measure again, divide -compare. If the image is skewed, both measures should be significantly different.

If your monitors resolution really is 16:10 then try setting it up as such, use height=1200 or a different combination of width/height that does come up to 16:10.

My monitor is 16:9 and switching from 42" to 47" didn't help

A shot of the aimer in a 109 should show oval or circle.
Google your monitor (possibly add serial number)to see what the res is and adjust accordingly?

What happens when "SaveAspect=1"?

If 16:9 then 1920x1080 is the correct resolution.

What is your field of view setting for that image? Narrow? Wide? Normal? Looks wide...

IIRC SaveAspect only supports 4:3, widescreen resolutions require it to be off. Unless TD changed that.

I have sorted out the problem on my PC.
After 4.12.1, it seems that my "use widescreen fov" switch got "reversed". When it was lit, it was actually off, and when it was off it was actually on.

Also, this option will only take affect after restarting the client, which i didn't know.
