Default Fake IL-2 Sturmovik app being sold on Apple's App Store. is 1C aware?

I am one of these people that thinks it would never happen to them.

I am usually aware of this type of scam, I check the comments in every app I buy, the images, the description, the presentation of the product. But I got tricked into buying a fake IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 version for an iPad and I feel everyone should know this is a complete scam.

If you go to https://itunes.apple.com/BE/app/id691893415 you will see what I am talking about.

It is easy now to spot all the errors in the description, images and everything else, but a mix of excitement and surprise (who would ever think I would find this game for my iPad?) made me dismiss these subtle signs and get this app. It's no surprise that the real game downloaded is a simple crappy game made in 3 minutes.

This game is currently one of the top sold apps on the British App Store and it's being pushed by the images and +70 fake reviews that gave it a rating of 4.5 stars.

If you keep reading you will eventually find people complaining the app is malicious, but these comments are buried in a mountain of fake reviews.

Does 1C already know about this? It baffles me how Apple allowed this app to be approved, reach and stay at the top sold spot without any problems. And I wonder if I will ever get my money back...

You have been warned!

EDIT: the link shows no reviews, probably because it is not from the British App Store. If you use a British account you can see them though.

It looks like a bad side scroller for the Atari 2600.

If you were stupid enough to buy an iPad, perhaps you'd like this app!

The screens look like WOP and CoD, definitely not IL-2 1946.

IKR.

Uses the 1946 box art. Shows CoD screenshots.
