No idea. Those screenshots are very impresive if they're from Ps3 or xbox.

hmmm looks to be a sequel to a BoB version they had ... due to be out in the US 9/13..

here's what i found.

http://xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/...ttles-of-wwii/

Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWIIPlayers assume the role of one of four pilots taking on the Axis alliance during four different air campaigns, including the intense Battle of Britain, the war in Africa, the Eastern Front and the Pacific island-hopping campaign.

With more than 20 types of aircraft from both sides of the conflict -- from the fabled P-38 Lightning and Britain’s Spitfire to the feared Messerschmitt 109 and Japanese Kate -- players take on the same missions as WWII pilots, ranging from bombing runs and dog fights to manning defensive positions such as a gunner on a bomber or anti-aircraft site.

like the idea of flying historic missions

The flight plan for this combat sim puts you on a direct path through the pages of history. Combat Wings: The Great Battles of WWII sends you soaring on the wings of legends in four critical campaigns from the Second World War. Fight to defeat the Axis alliance in the Battle of Britain, over the skies of Africa, across the Eastern Front, and along the Pacific Rim. Pilot over 20 types of WWII-era aircraft, including Allied fliers like the P-38 Lightning and the Spitfire, plus Axis warbirds like the Kate and the Messerschmitt 109. Experience historic WWII missions as you go on bombing runs, survive intense dogfights, and more.

combat SIM?? Africa campaign and the PTO...kewl

from amazon...$39.95 usd

Can be played in either single or multi-player mode
Unique system of mission performance evaluation, and the possibility to upgrade your airplane based on that
Over 20 combat missions featuring main battlefronts of world war II (Battle of Britain, Eastern Front, Pacific)
Several types of missions to perform - from dogfights and escorts to bomb runs using over 25 airplanes, including American, British and Russian machines
Wii Remote oriented controls in 2 modes: simulation and arcade

hope its a better "sim" than air conflicts

trailer..isnt too impressive

Default Anorak Jack

Forgive me for being the Party Pooper.....But

the link also has the "British Campaign", run it and a Hurricane is being chased by a Fw190 in August 1940 ?

Kurt Tank was still repairing the V5 prototype into the V5g große Fläche (large wing) model after an accident at that date in History. Erprobungsstaffel was still sorting the technical problems until June 1941 ?? II./JG 26 could not get there hands on them till August 1941......still

Nice all the same

Hate to be old grumpy, but it looks like something similar to "Heroes over Europe". Sure I'll check it out, it got wings in it...

Here's a few more screens, since this title is being published on all platforms the screens are probably from the PC version.
