Default Bullet holes...

Hello everyone
does anyone know if is it possible to show ALL the bullet holes our machineguns/cannons have on enemy planes.

I know I am not the first to say this (there are other threads about this issue I reckon) but I would like to know if someone finally found the way to make those bullet holes show properly on enemy planes.

Call me "manic", but one of the best thing I love about Clod, is to just look at the damage on planes and where exactly each bullet went through

I found out that changing the setting on the conf.ini files
Decals = 2
from 2 to 3, 4, 5 and indeed it seems that somehow when in 3 or 4 there are more bullet holes.

Strangely enough, on the second attempt to launch the game, this specific setting on conf.ini gets back to "2"...

Cheers

This is no longer available since one of the patches.

Apparently the best game features were eliminated by the patches
How did you make the
screenshot? Playing CloD only with the 1. patch?

Yep a shame about the patches, they were directed at the wrong things to fix...I had backed up and saved it and I fly all three varieties. Early game, It requires a very strong rig to be able to fly it. Plus now you would have to enjoy flying it off line. My rig is OK for it but not perfect. How bout your machine is it strong, do you fly the final and the mod

i play with the latest TF patch. Therefore i am not able to see the exact positions of every bullet hit the plane.
Pc is not so bad.

Good picture. Do you have more to show?

So you play with CloD vanilla + 1. patch to see the bullet holes?

Yes the hits are nice to see, also the other features that were removed by the devs is the why that I prefer to fly it. This shows the cool D detail that we had in the game...If someday you upgrade your rig, I'm sure the original game will still be out there on the web waiting for you. ..

Hey, hey, hey....That skin took a lot of time and effort to make, you know!

It's nice to know it's being put to some use though

Hmmm... that is a feature I would like to have. Did the damage match every bullet?

But, the patches have also improved many other aspects

I have a Windows 7 32 hard drive and a 64 on my system. At the moment CoD is on the 64. Maybe I should also install on my 32??? My hardware is top-range.
