Default trade

hello everyone,

i have a question concerning trade and its fairly simple:
how do i sell things?

no merchant at all will accept goods.
or is it because they are all stolen?
or do i have to complete a certain stage of the game that this option appears?
or am i thinking in a far to complicated way?

i have fought my way into northern and already acquired the cat tattoo.
still i am not able to sell things.

pls help cause my stashes are overflowing!

go to markets in the norther city and click on merchants when the trade window appears, just drag the items u want to sell to the table(blow the screen)and click on the sell icon.
no difference between stolen and non stolen items(is there any non stolen btw!!)

Yep it's easy to sell whatever you steal from the houses etc. It would appear that the thief skill is very important in this game because you get xp when you pick locks as well as the loot. I read somewhere here that I will have access to better lockpicks when I get my skill up to 100. Is this true?

later in the game you'll have access to better lockpick sets but still you'll need special keys for some chests and doors.
for more info read the "Hints & Tips" and "Bunch o' Questions" threads.
