Default Desktop crahses... some info..to help

Hi,

Noticed after patching (and before) that every time I tried to change to a new resolution the game started ONCE correctly, but always crashed to desktop when loading a scenario the second time I started the game.

Found out the following:

When changing the resolution, the game adds the following to the /user/video.ini file:

oldWidthResolution=1280
oldHeightResolution=1024
oldRefreshRate=60

values of course depends on what you change from....

Workaround:
After setting your screen resolution in the game and quitting it:
Remove the 3 line at the end (startin with old...), save the file... and then Write-protect it... right click Properties/read-only yes.

When starting the game you get... Screen resolution changed every time BUT you can play the game as the scenarios load and even your saved ones.

Problem seems to be that the extra lines are not parsed correctly, causing the program to crash every time... thus drop to desktop.

So 1C .... Please correct this ASAP, and dont ask us to "Please remove the video.ini file before every start of the game... my screen is 1280x1024... not 1024x768...and thus looks horrible and has barely readable text.

Best regards
Pgtest
