Japs get infantry bonus for buying a tank?

"A strong bonus is additional infantry for each tank you call in, to simulate historical tactics and open you a lot of opportunities."

What is this bonus? Does it mean if I buy a tank I can get infantry squad for free? Or is the info out of date?

I think that is just saying, its a strong bonus to cover your tanks w/ infantry to protect them...maybe im wrong but i do know you dont get a free infantry squad w/ your armor.
