Default RIP HMS Invincible

It seems every other day I look at the news and see another military decommission. Today HMS Invincible leaves the UK for the last time to get scrapped in Turkey.
Another sad day for our armed forces

Yep I'll second that DK. Another consigned to history, ironically at a time where a carrier would have been the perfect platform. Politicians..... You wouldn't let them have control of your TV remote would you!!!

Well, probably your country will replace that ship with a newer more efficient and less expensive one. Hopefully. But modern weapons ( ships, aircrafts, missiles, etc etc etc... ) usually are more expensive than the old one. One Boeing AH-64 Apache costs US$20 million dollar. One AGM-114 Hellfire costs $68,000 USD, One EF2000 eurofighter costs €90 Million Euros... those are just few examples... Sadly, war and defense is very expensive business my friend.
