Basic questions about SR2

I have the original SR2 CD version which I used to play but only recently began playing again. I'm thinking about getting SR2 Reboot, which I can buy on eBay for a few bucks. Some Questions:

1. Does the CD/DVD version of Reboot also use Starforce. I really dislike Starforce because it has given me so much trouble on some of my computers. I'm not trying to cheat the company but I'd like to be able to run the game on different computers depending on where I am. What's the copy protection system on current distros?

2. I read on Wikipedia that "Revolution" is an add-on to the Russian version of Reboot, which may be available for the English version. Is it in fact available?

1. It doesn't iirc...and thank God for that, I also hate Starforce (who doesn't....I know who)

2. No, I got it from a russian forum at one time but it has been pulled out....legal stuff but atm it's only for the russian version.
