Is it possible to get a stand alone copy of the latest patch? i like to keep such things in an archive for study of a game that I am researching...and I would also like to know the patch number of the latest patch? thank you.

Only the beta patches have been available 'stand alone', all the official ones' have peen pushed out via steam update (so no downloadable archive available).

The potential is really endless. I had a hard time with engine controls at first, even after having flown IL2 since the original version, but it was worth the learning curve.
