Default Field of View

Is it possible to show only the "field of view" from the enemies? I cant get the "field of view" for my units to work. The manual says press "R" and the hold position button?!

And how what does the "spread" and "advance" function mean? I see no difference (icons and movement) to a normal move order?! What do i make wrong?

Ok, you mean the enemy?! For my own units I cant toggle on "field of view"? And in the manual the picture shows the "field of view" on several units simultaneously
