Quote:
I was hoping to find the same kind of narrative in Cryostasis where yells and comments in Russian are very life-like, and this would immerse me into the game (maybe the NPC sailors drink vodka, pat each other on backs and shout the comments in Russian). But maybe this is not that kind of a game where there is a place for the Russian comments. For example, I played the English version "You Are Empty", and did not find it used much of a sound. Anyway, I intend first finish playing the Stalker, and only then get Cryostasis. Which will take probably at least couple of more months. |

I've enjoyed this game very much, but I'm not really happy about 1C's distribution in Western Europe, it's almost impossible to get a retail here. We also didn't manage to contact 505 for a digital distribution version, like they did with other 1C games. I've played the game unpatched with an illegal version in december-january. I decided to dedicate a very long review to probably the best Ukrainian game I played until now, it's better than ViviSector and more solid than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. vanilla anyway..
Work in Progress (Dutch/Голландский): I will post an automatically translated full version once I'm ready with it (going to take some time, I have about 5 other games to do now and they have more priority..). I just hope you like this version according to construction and screenshots. |
