I don't get quests.

I played SR2 earlier and it was a great game. No I bought Reboot. I removed the original (which seems to have been a failure) and installed SR2 Reboot. I played the game quite far (91% of galaxy space is free now, keller destroyed, I have the unique military ship), but got only 3 text quests (all the new ones of course) and absolutly no planetary battle quests.

Then i reinstalled the old version, than reinstalled Reboot. Replaced save directory with my aforementioned save. But I still don't get quests or at least very seldom and they are only escort, defense and bounty hunting quests.

Am I just inpatient?

I noticed the same thing. There used to be a ground mission during the tutorial and it has been removed. It was a great way to get some xp in the beginning of the game and teach you how to use the robots. There also used to be ground missions on the main planets of each system after you liberated it from the Dominators in SR2. I have been playing Reboot for a few days and have not been given a single ground mission.
