Please help me out guys.

I am havin a heck of a time trying to load the 1946 onto my computer. I went into the files on the disk and had to install the game by clicking the file named "a". But I got it all loaded up. but now when I click on the desktop icon to play a window pops up and tells me it cant authenticate the disk, like it thinks its a backup disk and its asking me to put in the original cd before it will let me play.

Now I bought the Game off a website and it was all closed and looks VERY authentic to me, I dont think I got scammed buying anybodys burnt backups so there must be a different problem here.

If anyone else had this problem I would like to know how to fix it so I can play.

There was a NODVD patch that was released. You should be able to find it at www.mission4today.com. That may solve the problem.

You'll have to have the game patched up to 4.09m to play online.
