Anyone fancy taking a shot (excuse the pun) as to who fired the mg in the tail cone of a HE111.
Was there some sort of gun sight so you could see what you were shooting at, such as a periscope, or was it just fired in the hope of hitting something.
I also think the pilot fired it.. And it's fixed so no aiming. It was known as the stinger.
