German Train bug? - Ground level vs Track level

I've looked, but cannot find any mention of this.. Is it just me, or does the german train appear at ground level, instead of track level in the FMB?

I've seen the same thing in a mission one of my mission builders put together. The wheels are halfway buried into the track bed.

A few versions ago, the trains used to actually climb right over the top of a mountain instead of going through the tunnel. (IE - near Dover)
