Are they going to make this game for PC???
Are they going to make this game for PC like the first IL-2's?

No.
But in all honesty, why would you want it? Just pick up IL2/IL2FB/IL2 1946 and you'll have much more fun and customization etc. |

Fair play, must admit they are good.
But could your pc handle them? to upgrade etc etc it would be just as cheap to pick up an xbox or ps3. Though graphics alone dont make a game IL2FB/1946 being prime examples of that |

They're working on a sequel, and they hinted there'll be something for PC gamers as well..

Go to the regular IL2 forum here on friday when Oleg posts his updates with in game videos of his Battle of Brittain theme WWII sequel for the PC.
Then you will understand that it would be silly to try and compete against what Oleg and company will be bringing out. There is no point for them to try and compete in the sim PC market. There is way more work that would have to be done to please the crowd that plays sims on PC - as evidenced by long time IL2 players reaction to this game - many of whom have decided to keep playing 1946 after trying BOP - myself included. |

The devs did say that they had some special announcements for the pc crowd.
I never saw a post after that though. Who knows what they are up to. |

How could they?
The PC community MADE this company. How could they simply dump it in favor of consoles (which, btw, can't keep up with PCs for graphics abilities).
I can hardly believe it. I've been playing IL-2 Gold for years and wanted to see if there was an updated version with more up to date graphics. I just can't believe they dumped the hardcore sim community for XBOX roxxers... |

Nature of the gaming business these days!
PC gaming had it's hay day! In years past, PC games were converted to consoles games... the roles have reversed, now with the economic hard times, gamers find it very difficult to buy a new rig or upgrade their hardware. |
