Default "Cliffs of Dover", title sounds... weak

Of all the titles I can think of for this game, "Cliffs of Dover" sounds limp, lacking immensity, or importance.

It would be excellent for a travel brochure, but an action game?

Had to re post this:
The acronym, CoD. Cash on Delivery??
Something UBIsoft would do, hummm?

I understand what you mean, but certainly to us Brits they're a national symbol of erm.. Britishness. Also a symbol of defiance to any potential invader. Even to us Northerners.

Also, rumour has it it that some Luftwaffe aircrew were physically sick as they loomed closer.

I do prefer 'Storm of War' myself however.

tbh, i don't think it's that bad, i actually think Storm of War sounds a bit cliche/corny.

Game titles that take the format "Things of this" are far too common.

Call of Duty
Wings of prey
Age of x
Arsenal of Democracy
Legends of x
Company of Heroes
Dawn of x
Soldier of fortune
Shells of Fury
etc.
etc.
etc.

"Cliffs of Dover" isn't a horrid one, but it does sound like a FSX terrain addon.

I seen the White cliffs my self many times and they are impressive.

If it was a game on invading England, then yes, CoD would be excellent, but for an air war?

OH, and the acronym, COD. Cash On Delivery??
Some UBIsoft would do, hummm?

Couldn't have put it better myself.
And the Battle of Britain was about invading Britain!

Well, the effort for air superiority was in preparation for an attempt at invasion, so that bit fits.

Agree with the cash on delivery bit though. It was the first thing I noticed.

The White Cliffs of Dover are synonymous with the Battle of Britain. Thus a great choice for the title. I'm sure it was a difficult decision.
