Default Gamespeed after Lava Golem

I noticed battle speed slowed tremendously after summoning lava golem. Anyone can suggest on how to mod the lava golem to improve battle speed ?

TQ

Zooming in reduces the lag, but that's pretty much all I can do about it. Sad, because the Lava Golem is a pretty cool meat shield with all its resistances.

Same here. think the only easy way to fix this would be to use a different model for it.

The lag comes from unit's graphic effects. If you remove them in lava golem.atom files there won't be anymore lag. Here try this:

Extract this in mod folder and see if you still lagging.
Attached Files
File Type: zip Lava golem.zip (7.4 KB, 93 views)

i know this is an old thread but i got to ask, where do you put this in?
In *\King's Bounty - Warriors of the North\data\Mods? do those files need to be there or do you need to make extra folder like *\King's Bounty - Warriors of the North\data\Mods\lava golem? I did both but the frame rate is still the same. or is the file location wrong? Where do i need to put this?

Edit: Never mind found it.
The *\King's Bounty - Warriors of the North\data\Mods location is for steam version.
For Normal CD version you need to do some other stuff. First of all go to *\King's Bounty - Warriors of the North\sessions\addon than copy "ses.kfs" to somewhere else, rename it to "ses.zip" (IMPORTANT need to rename it to .ZIP not .RAR, otherwise it will not work) open the zip file, now while it is open select all the "lava golem atom" files witch you have downloaded and extracted form the Lava Golem.zip provided by gempepaine ( ty btw! ) and drag them to the opened ses.zip to replace the original ones (for me at least it did not give any popup asking if i wanted to replace, i guess it dosent do that on zips) after that close the zip file and rename it back to "ses.kfs" and replace the original in *\King's Bounty - Warriors of the North\sessions\addon ( should also copy the original some place else in case something goes wrong). Finally those hours browsing the files paid off.
