hi guys, i want ask something about wandering merchant and caravanabashi

the question are :
1. where wandering merchant appear?
2. what are the requirements for wandering merchant appear?

i got the problem with wandering merchant in hundfields.

i remember, when my first character arrive at hundfields and get some action(i forgot what that action), wandering merchant appear.
but when my second character arrive at hundfields, i had some action. but the wandering merchant not appear like at my first character.

anyone can tell me "what i miss?"

i have another questin after i clear quest "valley of the D.... ", and talk to caravanbashi again, i have some exp and gold.
what it also happening to another quest if i talk to caravanbashi?
