Default DEVS help with missing cursor

Hello.

Could the developers please help me. I bought Sturmovik 1946 some years ago but it's only now i can sit back and enjoy it. Well I wish I could. I have it on Steam BUT as I have the disk I have also installed it on my computer.

The problem is, on both copies, once the game loads up the cursor disappears and that's it. I can't go any further in the game. I get the opening movie alright, then hit escape then I get taken to the options but I can't do anything in there. No cursor. The keyboard 'Y' for yes works when asked do I want to close but that's all.

I'm desperate for help.

Regards,
Jim zl2bmh

Try this:

-Right-click on the shortcut that you use to start IL2
-Go to Properties
-Go to the Compatibility tab
-Check the box that says "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"

Also, check that the resolution in your conf.ini matches your monitor display. Win10 does some screwy things with resolutions.
