Bierman recently repeated these experiments using an fMRI brain scanner and documented emotional responses in brain activity up to 4 seconds before the stimuli. Other laboratories have made similar findings.
I'll wait for the Nobels to be handed out before subscribing to such an extraordinary claim.

not enough data transferred quick enough to make a cognitive decision even if you added them all together.

Maybe if a quantum computer gets built then it could do this.

Wait for the biocomputers....

not really that doesnt work as an human brain

the delay of the signal hand eye i seem to recall its go and back 1.5 seconds, exactly what the human brain is in the future

in fact force feedback is great cause the delay hand-hand is less than the hand -eye what makes you be slightly in the future(for example if someone drops anote with your finger around it the almost only way to caught it is if youre touching it slightly)

the experiment of showing neutral an emotive images and via scanner detect the precognition its been extensivily reproduced which makes it totally scientifical and on the quantum paths only avalaible for crackpots

?
You mean like:

Quote:
Extremely we promotion remainder eagerness enjoyment an. Ham her demands removal brought minuter raising invited gay. Contented consisted continual curiosity contained get sex. Forth child dried in in aware do. You had met they song how feel lain evil near. Small she avoid six yet table china. And bed make say been then dine mrs. To household rapturous fulfilled attempted on so.
which basically is the same as:
Quote:
Fusce egestas ac ligula etiam iaculis netus sodales diam viverra, platea nibh ut varius velit pretium id rhoncus nisl rutrum, conubia leo massa facilisis tortor mattis risus habitant.

No the World Wide Web isn't sentient. Peoples' brains don't operate in the future - they estimate trajectory which is why people can miss.

Why would they make secret patches, surely they would milk every bit of advertising they could out of it.

well seems the neural signal speed its around 100 m/s

http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2002/DavidParizh.shtml

that means the delay to kick a ball is like 2/100= 20 ms

20 ms for a human conscience to kick a ball

ive played online with other countries with lower ping

so the net delay is not a reason for the web not to be sentient

and what can be the processing power as a whole of all the pcs from the world?

edit:

my config changes with this game without touching it, either the sentient web or secret minipacthes though probably neither of the two but who knows

edit:

ill put you an example whcih really happened:

i set myself on undestructible and unlimitted ammo and oblitearted 9 biplanes ignoring them when they shot me

apparently inmediatly after when i run identical mission the game was peaced off and the biplnaes were way faster and clinbed way better than me

im almost sure i didnt have the flaps on or not going at full throtle, though i atribute this to selfadjustable ai level but who knows

here the original concept:

I have two comments. Firstly, here is the first sentence from the Wiki page / Jane_(Ender's_Game). I have emphasized the important adjective.

"Jane is a fictional character in Orson Scott Card's Ender series."

Secondly, I think you are confusing your abbreviations regarding response times.

Ping times in internet use are measured in milliseconds (abb: ms) while nerve responses are measured in metres per second (abb: m/s).

I don't see how you can correlate a link between these parameters in order to prove this shaky theory.
