sorry McQ not my bag, sorry to deprive you of a wingman; but scrabbling across the ground in a fw190 or being left in the dust in a E3 just doesn't sound right.

Hi all, and McQ59,

Sorry couldn't be online last night as I thought I would. Summer and the parties...forgive me and hope to get a big Aerial Battle started soon.

More Friends needed!

No woories mate. Gilly, Dave, Jack, me and a few other lads had a cpl of good missions. I took out the E3 for a spin

But just to check out if I got this right... Do you guys skip the bombers and the escort-role for the P51's?

Thats BS McQ.
I saw you dancing at 2 am, saturday the 11 of july in Gillys tent at that campsite at Duxford.
Or were you trying to get out of the tent to take a leak ?
I cant quite remember, but it sure looked kinda like dancing...........

Thanks mate.

No we're not skipping the bombers and escort missions, the Aerial Battles are just the first of hopefully many more games to come, will create some missions that will involve bombers and other airplanes (not dissimilar to the bombing runs according to Gilly).

We chose the Aerial Battles as the first game to build up a good number of Jerry pilots for future games.

How's the E3 doing?

Keep dancing mate

Much oblige Mac. It was my first trip in the E3 in sim. It performed surprisingly well actually. I knew from beforehand that it is a very manouverable plane, but it surprised me positivly in sim by being a very good bomb-knocker too. Just used it for one mission though, but I will deff be comfortable with it to try it out agains the P51's. And propably get burned... But it's a great dancer - maybe for a slow-fox

As Gilly has mentioned to you, we have done quite a few bombruns with escort on different maps. To bomb the Red October outside Stalingrad or The Reichstag in Berlin has been great missions. As far as I know, the ticketcounter don't registrate hits on those targets - but I wouldn't swear on it. It's a thing Gilly would know I guess... His The Bomber.

Correct mate. If done in any scenario- TB, strike then bombing other targets doesn't effect ticket count.
