Default The invincible all-droid team!

Companion: Jimmy Kraud for 550 (700-150=550) more leadership and also his slots are PERFECT.

Artifacts:

Helm: Elven Crown: 1000 leadership (surprisingly enough, this seems to be the best helm without the giftbag mod, mask of hate doesn't even come close)

Weapon: Axe of Ice III, with this repair droid can melee (which hits A LOT harder than their ranged attack) without retaliation, +10% physical resistance

Companion Weapon: Royal Hammer, -15% droid leadership requirement

Chest/Bracer/Shield: Scaly Set, +20% physical resistance

Companion Chest: Slippery Curass: +10% physical resistance

Boots: Twinkling Boots: +15% physical resistance

Companion Boots: Perfect Shoes: +30 mana (best shoes, hands down)

Artifact: engineer's badge: -20% droid leadership requirement
Artifact: Horn of King Borg, -10% droid leadership requirement
Companion Artifact: Skull of Death

basically, droids have 82% physical resistance; 55 (from items) + 20 (droid innate) + 7 (guardian medal III)
leadership requirement for guard droid: 66; (down from 120)
leadership requirement for repair droid: 44; (down from 80)

I am only level 32 yet I find myself literally unstoppable!(impossible, mage)

If you find anyway to improve my setup, let me know!

Mask of Hate is better. 15 Rage is much more game effective then 1000 leadership (except maybe pretty early on.

1000 leadership means 23 more repair droids and 15 more guard droids...

And what percentage more damage/healing does that give you? 15 Rage and -1 initiative to enemies give you stronger control of the board, and lets you generate rage a lot faster. Even a warrior near the end of the game is probably getting 20% faster rage generation with it, and a higher rage cap, which can be game changing.

update, just beat the game...impossible, mage, finished at level 42...boy that's a bit low but i didn't really have any incentive to level my hero after i got all the stones...

droids are so OP for everything but bosses.

for K'tahu and Zilgadis, i only brought a single stack of repair droid, and repeatedly used phantom(for repairing)/divine armor or stone skin/magic spring/calm rage (apparently for boss fights, after a certain point, killing any enemy stack will bring your rage back to full...) to beat them.

here you go, i replayed the last fight against baal to make sure it's a 0 casualty run.

final fight (wanderer scroll madness!!!)

no idea why it says 2829 repair droid, i only brought 500 (22000 leadership) as you can see in previous image, i think computer must count all the droids that i have resurrected using phantom.

It says 2829 because it counts all of the Phantoms that you summon, as well. I noticed that with my 500-some (max leadership at the time) Sea Dogs that I Phantomed, whent he battle was over it said my 700-some Sea Dogs did what damage WAITAMINNIT, how many? I had to re-check my army composition to make sure I was at full leadership, but then I realized how many I had gotten from Phantom and it was all good.
