Default Water settings

As in the old il 2 series game, we were able to set conf.ini to adjust water effects for nvidia and ati cards with a water=1,2,3, and 4 for nvidia i think. Can we do that with this game. I remember that the water in the beginning with this game was more sparkly and blue. Now, I like the color alot but doesnt seem as ( for lack of a better adjective) "sparkly". Has anyone tried this????

Thanks

The change from what you remember was drastic...
Still waiting to see if someone's going to answer this one or not..
But.. I think the water had been changed in a patch (not sure).

I like the looks of both.. I've lived on the lake for all my life and have seen both "looks".

S!

In original IL-2 series you could only change water quality in OpenGL mode, not in DirectX. And as CoD is DirectX I bet you can not tweak the water much. Sure would be nice to try if possible.
